Welcome to the Buckinghamshire NHS Smokefree Support Service website. We are a FREE NHS service whose aim is to provide free advice, information and support to local people thinking of stopping smoking.

You are up to four times more likely to stop smoking with support from an NHS Stop Smoking Adviser combined with Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) or Zyban.

We can offer:

- One to one support for up to six weeks. Available at Pharmacies, GP, hospitals, leisure/fitness centres and other community locations.
- By working with employers, free workplace groups.
- Online Support through Desktop Quitting.
- Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gum etc) available at prescription cost or free if you are exempt.
- We have the expertise to support you through the process of quitting with experienced, friendly and committed NHS Stop Smoking Advisers.
- Your own GP surgery may also have specialist clinics to support you to stop smoking.
